The recent, first meeting of a new public service organization in Guthrie County has raised $11,100 for a good cause.

The group Ten Squared Men aims to find 100 men capable of writing a check for $100 in support of a local cause, several times a year.

At their inaugural meeting, the group chose to support the BackPack food programs at the County’s elementary schools, including Guthrie Center, Panorama, Adair-Casey and West Central Valley.
