The Perry community is invited to come meet the state bound Jayette softball team this afternoon.

A sendoff cookout will take place at Hy-Vee today. Raccoon Valley Radio, Hy-Vee and the Perry School District are hosting the event.  Players and coaches will be there to meet attendees and receive well wishes.

It starts at 5pm and is open to the public.
