Greene County will be the decided underdog tonight when they face number eight Boone at Boone tonight in opening round Class 3A District 4 high school baseball. Greene County is 11-16 and has won eight of its last 12 games. The Rams are coming off a 6-4 loss on Wednesday night in Des Moines to number three Saydel, the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference champion. Boone has a 25-6 record and won its last two regular season games after losing three of its previous four. The Toreadors were ranked number two in the class before dropping six spots in the final regular season poll from the Iowa Baseball Coaches Association.
