Over the past week, Pokemon Go has become one of the most popular cell phone applications in the world.

Adair Police Chief Matthew Heinz says it’s great the game is getting people out walking and biking, but reminds everyone that it is illegal to wander onto other people’s property to catch pokemon.

He adds wandering around in people’s yards at night could easily get somebody mistaken as a burglar.

Finally, Heinz says to make sure you’re keeping your eyes on the road, and the rest of your surroundings, and not just your phone while playing Pokemon Go.
