The Second Scoop the Loop event of 2016 takes place Saturday night in Stuart.
Organizer Bob Cook says even with large amounts of downtown being torn up for the infrastructure project, the event is still thriving. “We know with the construction going on, downtown is a little constrained but this group is doing a great job to make it work and this time will be no different. It will be the same location as June, on the east side of downtown. We’ll have several food vendors and live deejay music from Richard Woodson. The registration and gift booth will be manned by team members. We’ve reached the point that our registration, award-winning and gift-drawing process is very professionally and efficiently handled, and I am very happy to see that.”
Scoop the Loop takes place Saturday night from 5-10 p.m. Cook will tell us more about it today on Let’s Talk Guthrie County. It airs during the 9 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. hours on K107.9 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
