Several businesses donated items to 4-H’ers for this year Greene County Fair.
Extension 4-H and Youth Coordinator Kayla Hyett is happy with this year’s t-shirt design.
“This year’s design is the same design as we had last year with Home State Bank sponsoring those shirts. The design is great, I think it implements both 4-H and FFA and that is exactly what we’re here to do. We also have Farmers Mutual Insurance (Association/Complete Insurance, Greene County Corn Growers and Farm Credit Services (in Carroll) have all given punchcards to use at the fair this year.”
Farmers Mutual Insurance donated $10, Farm Credit Services gave $5 and Greene County Corn Growers gave each 4-H’er a coupon for a free ice cream cone to use at the Clover Cafe.
Hyett reminds 4-H’ers that if they don’t pick up their t-shirts and coupons by fair set-up day on Monday, she will bring the remaining items to the fairgrounds.
