A deputy, Churdan Fire and Alliant Energy all responded to the 600 block of School Street in Churdan for a tree that had fallen on a power line and had knocked it to the ground.

A deputy was advised of two dogs being found on the Squirrel Hollow pavement. The dogs were brought to the animal shelter in Jefferson by the finder and the deputy assisted with placing them in the shelter.

A deputy was dispatched to the 700 block of Eagle Street in Scranton to investigate a reported burglary and theft of meat from a freezer.

A deputy was dispatched to the 700 block of Eagle Street in Scranton to investigate the theft of money from a parked vehicle.

The Chief Deputy Sheriff and Grand Junction Fire all responded to a reported vehicle on fire on Highway 30 near T Avenue. After arriving on scene, it was determined that the radiator had come loose and there was no fire.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
