June is National Berry Month and this weekend the Dallas County Conservation Board is teaching the public about the importance of eating more fruits and vegetables.
The July Berry Jamboree takes place Sunday at the Forest Park Museum. The program is for anyone ages 7 and up. It includes a short slide show about the benefits of eating berries, along with tasty samples.
Participants will also take home instructions on how to choose and prepare the best tasting fruits and food activities for children.
