The ADM Lady Tiger softball team will now know who their second round opponent will be. ADM would take on the winner between Storm Lake and Denison-Schleswig in last night’s contest and after 7 full innings and a 10-1 victory that team will be Dension-Schleswig.

ADM will see a Lady Monarch team now with a 20-16 record on the year and winners of their last five contests. Denison-Schleswig will enter tomorrows contest ranking 8th in class 4A in RBI’s with 204 on the season and 9th in 4A in total hits on the season.

The Lady Monarchs will have to head to Tiger Field and take on a Lady Tiger team ranking 9th in class 4A in home runs with 18 on the year. Despite their high RBI count the Lady Monarchs will have a tough time manufacturing runs against an ADM squad yielding class 4A’s win and strikeout leader Molly Jacobsen who yields a 30-4 record thanks in part to 399 strikeouts on the year. All that without mentioning the fact that Jacobsen is holding opposing batting to just .119 batting for the year.

ADM and Denison-Schleswig will square off in round two of the Regional 1 postseason tomorrow night in Adel. You can catch that game on K107.9 FM and online at raccoonvalleyradio.com. Pregame will get things kicked off around 6:45 pm with first pitch from Tiger Field set to take place at 7:00 pm.
