We are now less than a week away from the primary election.
Those who have not yet registered to vote will have to do so at the polls on June 7th by providing a card copy of proof of residency and identification.
Absentee ballots can still be cast at the Dallas County Auditor’s office through Monday the 6th. Request forms are available online or at the office and ballots need to be requested by Friday.
So far, Auditor Gene Krumm tells Raccoon Valley Radio they have sent out 484 absentee ballots and 325, or 65.6 percent, of them have been returned.
The polls will be open from 7am until 9pm Tuesday and the Raccoon Valley Radio network will have updated results as they are made available.
