all wheel showThe Dallas County Sheriff’s office is hosting their 8th annual All-Wheel Show this weekend.

Sheriff Chad Leonard says it’s a spring tradition he looks forward to and encourages everyone to come check it out.

“We open it up to automotive enthusiasts, we allow tractors and motorcycles, cars and trucks, pretty much anything.  We get a lot of participation from the dealerships here in Dallas County and a lot of the automotive world here in Dallas County, and several from outside the county as well.  So they bring some specialty vehicles and boy, some of the neatest things you’ve ever seen will show up to the show.  We take the funds and we give it to our Special Olympic athletes.”

It takes place Saturday on the square in Adel.  Registration opens at 10am and judging will begin at 1pm.  Registration is $15 for the owner’s first vehicle and $5 per car after that.

The Raccoon Valley Radio Big Red Radio will be there playing music and making announcements throughout the event.
