Just one day remains until the Iowa High School state golf meets will be underway for some teams and many individual golfers from across the state.

One of those golfers would be ADM’s very own, Lindsey Lang. The ADM junior earned a spot in the state tournament thanks to her score of 89 at the regional meet in Newton last Monday. As Lang takes her swing at the state tournament she will be doing so as the only Raccoon River Conference representative, team or individual.

Lang will enter ranked inside the top 50 in adjusted score with 51.34 as established by the Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association. Lang will also enter the state tournament as the RRC leader in 18 hole average at 95.67  on the year.

Lang and the rest of the class 4A state qualifying teams and individuals will commence with the state tournament starting this Tuesday at the Coldwater Links golf course in Ames.
