As May starts to come to an end, the rain continues to fall.

According to the National Weather Service, as of early afternoon Thursday, Perry received another 1.15 inches of rain this past week for a total of more than four and a quarter inches so far this month.  Guthrie Center added another three-quarters of an inch to their total of around three and a half inches this month.

Normal monthly totals for this time of the month are listed as 4.2 inches for Guthrie Center and 3.9 inches for Perry.

Rain and storms are expected to continue through much of the Memorial Day weekend.
