Monday is Memorial Day, which means if you have business to take care of you may want to do so today.
All city offices and the Perry Water Works will be closed on Monday. The Perry Public Library will be closed both Sunday and Monday. The McCreary Community Building will be open from 1-5pm Monday, with the pool closing at 4:30pm. Monday’s garbage and recycling routes will be picked up on Tuesday and Tuesdays routes will run Wednesday. Because of this, there will be no yard waste pickup next week. The service will resume on June 8th with pickup north of Willis Avenue.
Additionally, the Adel City Hall will be closed Monday and garbage, recycling and yard waste collections will be delayed one day next week.
