Numerous area agencies assisted in responding t0 a rollover accident in Dallas County Saturday morning,

Dallas County Sheriff’s office dispatcher Jacob Wenger tells Raccoon Valley Radio that at approximately 11:15 a.m., the Sheriff’s office received several 9-1-1 calls of a roll-over accident involving a truck pulling a trailer, and vehicle fire on Interstate 80 eastbound. When deputies arrived there was no fire visible and everyone was out of the vehicle.

There were no serious injuries in the wreck, though two individuals were transported to a Des Moines hospital for evaluation. Wenger adds the Sheriff’s office is not releasing the exact location of the incident or identities of the individuals involved at this time.

The Sheriff’s office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Stuart EMS, Dallas County EMS and fire departments from Dexter and Earlham.
