A deputy spoke with an out of county resident about a personal property civil issue in the 800 block of Percival Street in Grand Junction.

A deputy was dispatched to the 2300 block of W Avenue to investigate illegal dumping of garbage and miscellaneous building materials into the ditch.

A deputy was unable to locate a dog running at large in the 400 block of Main Street in Scranton.

A deputy was advised of an erratic and careless driver entering Jefferson on Highway 30. A Jefferson Police Officer located the vehicle in question and issued a citation to the driver.

A deputy delivered a live animal trap to a resident in the 1400 block of Jordan Avenue.

A deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of Percival Street in Rippey to remove a raccoon from a live trap.

A deputy was dispatched to 8th and Hager Street in Grand Junction for an abandoned vehicle that was experiencing mechanical problems. The car was towed from the roadway.

A deputy was not able to locate a reported hitchhiker along Highway 30, west of Grand Junction.

A deputy was advised of a cow in the road on Eaton Avenue near 210th Street.

A deputy was dispatched to investigate an abandoned vehicle that was parked on the Greene County public access property near the river bridge at 210th Street and H Avenue.

Saturday, May 21st

A deputy spoke with a rural Greene County resident regarding her receiving several harassing letters in the mail.

A deputy spoke with a Grand Junction resident about the violation of a civil order.

A deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of Percival Street in Rippey to investigate a trespassing concern.

A deputy was dispatched to the 700 block of Main Street in Grand Junction for a residential alarm activation. The home was found to be secure.

A deputy was dispatched to a single vehicle rollover accident on 255th Street and P Avenue. The driver and three other occupants had left the scene before the deputy’s arrival. The deputy determined the driver of the 2004 Jeep Liberty to be a juvenile male, of Jefferson. He was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Control. None of the occupants were injured, but damage to the jeep was estimated to be $10,000.

Sunday, May 22nd

A deputy investigated criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 500 block of 14th Street in Grand Junction.

A deputy was dispatched to the 2400 block of P Avenue to investigate a burglary to a rural residence. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

A deputy was advised by a Grand Junction resident of the theft of his wallet and his VISA card being used in several different locations. The deputy initiated an investigation and will view video from those locations where the card was used.

A deputy assisted Greene County EMS with a medical call at the Greene County Middle School during the graduation ceremony.

A deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of Main Street in Grand Junction for a parking concern.

A deputy was asked to check the identity of a vagrant male hitchhiker walking along Highway 30 near H Avenue.

A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with an arrest in the 1000 block of North Maple Street in Jefferson.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
