Today is the last day to sign up for next weekend’s trip to the Bonnie and Clyde shootout site near Dexter.

Local historian and tour guide Rod Stanley says the location allows visitors to take a look back in time. “You talk about Bonnie and Clyde and them being camped at the campground and you can kind of visualize the posse members coming in on them and what they experienced when they saw these lawmen approaching and their reaction to it. People like to visit places where history actually happened.”
