The Perry Community School District Board of Education will meet in regular session Monday.
Items on the agenda include reports on the Raccoon River Valley Trail to High Trestle Trail connector project, a recent visit to the Solon school district to see how they use standards based grading, information on the summer reading pilot program and a Perry’s Academic Cultural Enrichment Services (PACES) update.
The Board will then consider bids for security upgrades, approve a bid to replace the heat pumps at the elementary school, approval of a tentative master contract with the district’s Support Staff Association and approval of the staff roster.
Special services group and administrator contracts will then be considered, along with summer wages and fees for PACES and summer food service.
District fundraisers, instructional and activity fees, a trip to Kentucky for the SkillsUSA team, board policy revisions and personnel changes will also be considered for approval.
The meeting takes place at 6pm in the Brady Library at Perry High School.
