We are wrapping up National Small Business Week, where we highlight the importance that small businesses have in our local economies.

Greene County Chamber Tourism and Events Coordinator Angie Pedersen says small businesses are a major factor for the Chamber and the community.

“We are so fortunate here to have such a varied array of (businesses), I mean we don’t just have retail, we don’t just have services. We’re go multi-faceted of what’s available here in our small businesses.”

Pedersen points out that Chamber members can also get special perks and extra advertising throughout the year to help even small businesses thrive.
