Greene County was last in a seven team field on Thursday in Story City in a nine hole boys’ golf tournament hosted by Roland-Story. The host R-S team won with 154, followed by Nevada 159, South Hamilton (Jewell) 166, North Polk (Alleman) 173, Ogden 179, Hampton-Dumont 180, and Greene County 183.

Medalist was Derek John of H-D at 35 with Will Halstead of R-S the runner-up at 37.

Greene County was led by Elijah Block at 41. Isaiah Yoder shot a personal best 44. Logan Nelson had 47 and Ben Bravard 53.

The regular season is over for the Greene County boys. Next up is a Class 3A Sectional in Atlantic on May 13.
