Dallas County Hospital is rolling out a new online Patient Portal.

Available to all patients, the portal features an easy way to view laboratory test results without having to contact the physician.

Chief Clinical Officer Tonya Summerson says they’re excited to offer this to patients as it allows them to be more engaged in their care.

When patients register at the hospital they will be asked for their email address. Then after the visit, an invite to the portal will be sent directly to them and they and follow the online instructions to set it up.
