A flood warning continues for a portion of Dallas County.

According to the National Weather Service, the warning for the North Raccoon River near Perry, or from the Greene and Dallas county line to Adel, remains in effect until Thursday evening.

Near Perry the river is around one foot above the flood stage of 15 feet. Minor flooding is occurring and expected to continue this week.  Levels are expected to peak this afternoon at around 1.5 feet above flood stage.
