The Perry Chamber invites everyone to join them for a ribbon cutting tomorrow.

Executive Director Bob Wilson says he often likes to just drop the name Nudgers Inc. in conversation because there are still people who do not know what the group is or does.

“This is a non-profit organization that rehabilitates buildings, specifically in the downtown area right now.  You’ll see where the Perry Chief is currently located, their offices, that’s the old Eagles building just beside the Perry Grand Theater there.  They took that building and restored it, they rehabbed it, there are four apartments upstairs, all of which are rented which is great and there’s a storefront that’s open.”

The open house Thursday starts at 8:30am.  There will be tours of the buildings, along with a ribbon cutting at 9am and light refreshments.

The event is open to the public.
