Part of Division Street in Stuart will close on May 2nd.

Administrative Assistant Nadine Avey says the closure will extend from just north of Front Street to north of North 2nd Street. The intersection with Front Street will close later in May.

Avey adds that individuals that usually park in the affected areas while visiting surrounding businesses and government offices may park in the lot south of Front Street across from City Hall, on the north side of Front Street in the angled lot near the Police Station, on North 2nd Street between Division and Gaines streets and in the alley behind True Value, Farmer’s Mutual Insurance and Harmony Chiropractic.
