Dallas County residents can request and submit absentee ballots for the primary election later this week.
County Auditor and election commissioner Gene Krumm says ballots for the June 7th election will be available from his office starting Thursday.
Those wanting to avoid the polls on primary day can cast a ballot in advance at the Auditor’s office in Adel during regular business office of 9am until 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Ballots can also be requested in writing through a form that’s available HERE. Requests need to be returned by June 6th but voters are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.
Offices on the primary election ballot include U.S. Senate, U.S. House District 3, State Senate District 10, State House District 19 and 20, Board of Supervisors District 2, County Auditor and County Sheriff.
