The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.
The Council will consider for approval development agreements with Mark Bauer Development Company and Tri-County Cash Lumber Mark, following two public hearings. The Council will also consider for approval Greene County Development Corporation’s quarterly funding request, hiring a seasonal general service worker, an agreement with Iowa Economic Development Authority and Jefferson Matters: Main Street to continue the Main Street program and a proposal to work with GCDC to obtain an outside consultant to conduct a housing needs assessment and a possible development funding strategy.
The Council will also hear a tourism update with Angie Pedersen and Deb McGinn, along with a presentation on the 2016 urban forest management plan with Jason Walker.
The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
