The West Central Valley boys golf team will head to the Lake Panorama tournament on Saturday. Head coach Jim Leavell says although Lake Panorama National Golf Course is an excellent place to play links, it is not very forgiving of mistakes sometimes made by student-athlete golfers. “They’ve got usually an out of bonds, water hazard or boundary of some type on every hole, if not both sides of every hole. They also have quite a few areas of long grass, so you could have out of bonds, water and a lost ball on every hole, and sometimes to the right or left.”

Tipoff at the challenging, but exciting Lake Panorama National Golf Course is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday.
