The Presbyterian churches in Greene County are partnering together to host an event next week.

Aaron Thomas, son of the late Ed Thomas, will be in Jefferson talking about how his family found strength after his father, the Aplington-Parkersburg football coach, was fatally shot by a former player who was dealing mental health issues.

He will be at the Presbyterian Church in Jefferson on Saturday, April 16th from 7 to 8pm. The cost to attend is $5, to help offset the cost of the speaker. Any extra funds from the event will go to the Ed Thomas Family Foundation. Child care will also be made available upon request.
