latinoamericansThe next part of the Latino Americans History grant series in Perry is guaranteed to be a tasty one.

Everyone is invited to enjoy new foods and make new friends at Perry’s Latino Progressive Dinner on May 6th.

The event will start at the TownCraft Center where attendees will try El Salvadorian appetizers and hear about an oral history project that’s being created.  Then the Hotel Pattee will welcome participants for a Latin American dinner and the evening concludes at La Poste where there will be dessert and a free salsa dancing lesson.

Tickets are available now and space is limited.  The cost of the three course dinner and dancing is $15 each for adults and tickets can be purchased at the Perry Public Library.

Those needing someone to watch the kids can take advantage of a “Fun at the Library” event where kids ages five and older can enjoy pizza, treats, crafts and activities for $5 each while the adults are out enjoying date night.

For more information, call the library at 465-3569.
