A deputy located a deer that had been struck by a vehicle on Highway 30 near the Carroll-Greene County line. The deputy determined that the deer needed to be put down.

Wednesday, April 6th

A deputy assisted Jefferson Police Officers with a Domestic Assault call and the arrest of a male subject in the 100 block of East Central Street in Jefferson.

A deputy assisted Jefferson Police Officers with a call at the same location as previously reported for criminal mischief to a vehicle and the arrest of the same male subject.

A deputy was on another call and unable to locate a reported unlicensed driver in Grand Junction driving near the Greene County Intermediate School.

A deputy assisted a Greene County Jailer with contraband found in the jail.

A deputy was advised of a trespassing concern in the 900 block of 190th Street.

A deputy spoke with a Scranton resident about the disputed ownership of a dog.

Two deputies assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with a fight in progress and the arrest of several male subjects in the Hy-Vee parking lot.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
