Greene County 4-H’ers are reminded of the Food, Safety and Quality Assurance training and test dates coming up later this month.
Extension Director Lori Mannel says FSQA is for any 4-H’er that wants to exhibit livestock at this year’s county or state fairs. Those who still need to go through the training, it will be offered on Saturday, April 16th from 9 to 10:30am and testing will take place on Tuesday, April 19th from 3 to 5pm, both at the Extension office in Jefferson.
Fourth through sixth graders must be re-certify every year through the training process, while intermediate and senior 4-H’ers have the option to either take the test of go through the training.
