Landus Cooperative headquarters is in Ames and has 750 full-time employees with more than 70 locations in Iowa and Minnesota with about 7,000 member-owners.
Newly appointed Chief Executive Officer Milan Kucerak says “Merging two strong cooperatives allows further diversification throughout the supply chain and opens local and global opportunities for added value and growth on behalf of our members. In short, the purpose of this merger is to make two cooperative organizations better than either one could be separately for employees, members and customers.”
The interiem website, landuscooperative.com allows individuals to see the new executive team, board member listings, as well as an explanation of the company’s name and logo.
The membership of both cooperatives voted on December 18th to merge the two companies together.
