The Perry girls golf team was able to defeat both Ballard and Norwalk Tuesday in the opening action of the new season.  The Jayettes fired a 228 as a team, followed by Ballard’s 236 and Norwalk’s 242.  Sarah Sweet paced the Perry attack with a 55, while both Alyssa Kruger and Ellie Nielsen shot 57’s.  Hannah Roberts contributed a 59 for the varsity score.

Perry will be involved in their 2nd triangular of the week Thursday when they travel to Greene County for a matchup with the Rams and Des Moines Christian.  Tee time will be 4:00.
