Thursday’s weather was reportedly a little cooler and more wet in Audubon than in Jefferson, which prompted the postponement of the Audubon Wheelerette Early Bird track & field meet. Audubon set a makeup date of Monday, April 4. Greene County was to have been in Audubon Thursday, but the Rams will not be taking part in the makeup meet. The Rams send their girls and boys to Panora for the Kip Janvrin Panorama Coed Relays on Tuesday, April 5.

Coach Kelly Simpson’s girls practiced Thursday after the postponement was announced. The Rams have been short on full squad practices due to Spring Break all of last week and the Greene County Early Bird Coed Meet this past Monday. After the long layoff just before the outdoor season began, the team gets four days of practice in this week, then will practice Monday before going to Panora on Tuesday.
