Not only is today every student’s favorite day of the week, but today is also a very busy day in the world of ADM boys athletics.

Today marks the official commencement of the 2016 outdoor season for the boys track team and the regular season opener for ADM boys soccer.

ADM boys track will start their outdoor season as they hit the road to take part in a twelve team meet that will take place in Winterset at 4:30 pm. The Tigers will be one of three Raccoon River Conference teams participating in the meet as they will run alongside the home town Huskies and the Carlisle Wildcats. The other 9 teams in the mix will be Clarke, Creston Community, Earlham, Greene County, Martensdale St Marys, Mount Ayr, Norwalk, and Nevada.

The ADM boys soccer squad will start their season today after a solid performance in their scrimmage against Norwalk on Tuesday. The Tigers will look to start this season off just as strong as the way they left last season. The preseason 8th ranked team in class 2A will look to ground the Blue Jays of Bondurant-Farrar tonight in their season opener. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
