More rain fell over the Raccoon River Valley this week in the form of both light snow and rain.
According to the National Weather Service, Perry saw just under half an inch of precipitation this week bringing the monthly total of 1.22 inches. Guthrie Center saw another 0.45 inch this week for a total of around 0.9 inch so far this month. Data for Jefferson has not been updated this week.
Normal monthly totals for March range between 1 and 1.5 inches locally. There is a strong chance for more rain Saturday.
