The West Central Valley Activities Department recently announced their spring and summer fundraiser.

Activities Director Tod Broman says student-athletes will help fund the department by selling Casey’s General Store pizza discount cards. “Usually by late-spring or early summer our account is almost in the red, if not in the red. I decided that we would have an additional fundraiser in the spring to help replenish our activity account because we still have some expenses coming up in the form of new uniforms.”

Broman adds that the fundraiser will begin this month. “I’ll be meeting with the kids after school on March 22nd. They will have a week to sell to family and friends, then we’ll have a blitz night to cover the entire community on Monday, March 29th from 6-8 p.m.”

The activities department will retain $14 of the $20 that the cards sell for.
