A deputy was dispatched to the Greene County Intermediate School in Grand Junction to be present during a child custody civil issue.

Two deputies responded to a reported two vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 30 and W Avenue. A 2013 Chevrolet Express G3500 van being driven by Douglas Lynn Holmes 66, of Latimer, Iowa, was westbound on Highway 30 when a northbound vehicle ran the stop sign at W Avenue and struck his van. Janice Lee Crawley 50, of Dawson, Iowa, was issued a citation for Failure to Stop at a stop sign. The 1999 Buick LeSabre being driven by Crawley was reported to be a total loss. Neither driver reported any injuries, with minimal damage to the Holmes van.

A deputy responded to a residential alarm activation in the 200 block of M Avenue. The home was found to be secure.

A Paton resident advised a deputy of an e-mail scam regarding Pay Pal. The individual did not give any personal information.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
