Guthrie County Assessor Rusty Pearson will be leaving his job in early March.

Pearson has accepted a management position with Wolf Construction in West Des Moines. His last day working for Guthrie County will be Wednesday, March 2nd.

The County Conference Board will work to select a replacement to serve the remainder of Pearson’s six-year term, which began last month. In the meantime, Assessor’s office employee Nikki Carrick will serve as the interim assessor.
