Two people were arrested early Monday after shorts were fired in Perry.

According to the Perry Police Department, a resident in the 1300 block of 6th Street called police around 2:30am saying someone drove by and shot at her residence.

When officers arrived on scene they did not see any damage to the home or vehicles.  They were able to find the vehicle the victim described and called the Dallas County Sheriff’s office to assist. When officers located the suspects they also found drug paraphernalia in the residence.

As a result, 21 year-old Rafael Partida of Perry was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and intimidation with a dangerous weapon.  A 17 year-old juvenile from Perry faces the same charges, along with minor in possession of alcohol.
