It was a hard fought game on either side for last nights match up between the Lady Tigers and the Dallas Center-Grimes Fillies.
It was an exciting game down to the wire as fans witnessed a great game that had only one lead change. That lead change came by way of the Lady Tigers with excellent full court offense that gave Sydney Bertman a open lane for the lay up with just 4 seconds left in the ball game. That put the Tigers up by one, 39-38, and that’s the way the the game would end after a final second attempt by DC-G’s Rachel Lowary bounced off the glass for Bertman’s 4th rebound of the night, giving ADM the win.
ADM had just three scorers on the night; would have just been two if senior Brianna Mueller hadn’t dropped her only bucket in the 4th quarter. Fellow senior Molly Jacobsen and junior Sydney Bertman were the primary scorers in last nights contest. Jacobsen led the scoring attack with 23 points followed by Bertman with 14 points while Mueller rounded out the scoring with 2 points.
The Lady Tigers will continue their postseason push on Tuesday as they hit the road to take on Lewis Central. Game tip off is scheduled for 7:00 with pregame coverage tipping off at 6:45 on your home for ADM postseason basketball action, K107.9FM and online at raccoonvalleyradio.com.
