wxThe forecast shows warmer temperatures and little chance of rain or snow until late next week, a welcomed change for many as it has been a cold and wet month so far.

According to the National Weather Service, Perry received another 2.5 inches of snow this past wee, Jefferson added 1.7 inches to their total and Guthrie Center saw another inch.

So far this month Perry has received 11.2 inches of snow since February 1st, Jefferson has seen 9.6 inches and 8 inches has fallen in Guthrie Center.  All three totals surpass the normal month average of between 3.3 and 5.1 inches.

Precipitation totals for Perry and Jefferson are also well above normal by around twice as much.
