Guthrie County Engineer Josh Sebern says area secondary road conditions are awful due to recent unseasonably mild weather and he expects them to get worse before they get better.
He adds that County drivers have been hauling rock and sand to repair as many roads as they can. Crews will work extended hours early next week in order to fix what they can, but Sebern says it’s hard to compete with Mother Nature and even with the extra labor, roads may still be sloppy for the foreseeable future.
