In addition to money raised through cyclists who register to ride BRR, proceeds from merchandise sales this weekend will also help support the Perry Chamber’s programming this year.
Executive Director Bob Wilson says whether you ride the 24-mile route or not there are several ways to enjoy Saturday’s festivities.
“You can get a great shirt, there’s also great merchandise and new hats this year and we’ll also have some old merchandise laying around there for you locals that don’t want to ride but A) do want to support the chamber and B) maybe just come out and meet some people. Come down that Saturday morning, it’s fun. The Lions Club breakfast will be started about 7:30, we’re going to ride all the way up until 10 when the ride starts. It’s just a really good time and it’s a bunch of really good people.”
Registration, packet pick-up and merchandise sales start at the Hotel Pattee at 7:30am Saturday. If you want to ride to Rippey and save some money, pre-registration is $10 cheaper in advance.
