All Greene County residents now have power restored after high winds caused several outages.
Midland Power Cooperative Spokesperson Abby Sprague says all 514 Greene County customers had their power restored by 2pm Wednesday. She states that “galloping” winds were the cause for the outages. It is when high winds push power lines into each other. They started getting calls in the overnight and throughout the morning.
Sprague appreciates everyone’s patience while crews worked to restore power. Midland Power had a total of 700 customers system wide with power outages.
