The West Central Valley Activities Department and Booster Club have announced another round of Athletes of the Week. Boys basketball player Truman Wiles was nominated by his coaches for always giving 100 percent effort. Girls basketball player Sadie McFarland was nominated by coaches for unselfishly working to improve her defense this season and recently scoring 14 points against Madrid. Wrestlers Cole Sackett and Jason Mayland were jointly nominated for their unselfishness in moving up a weight class in order to fill more slots on the team. Basketball cheerleader Mikayla Newton was nominated for doing a great job at learning new cheers this season and wrestling cheerleader Jaryn Kendall was recognized for her positive attitude.
