The Perry Bluejays and other teams in the Raccoon River Conference are rallying together to fight against cancer.
The second annual Team Up Against Cancer event will take place Saturday, January 30th during the conference wrestling tournament at Perry High School.
Right now, teams are collecting pledges for every pin that is made during the tournament, or a flat donation on behalf of their school.
All proceeds will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, which is the world’s largest blood cancer organization.
