The ADM girls basketball team may have very well played one of their best basketball games of the season last Friday night against the Bondurant-Farrar Blue Jays. Every aspect of the game for the Lady Tigers was firing on all cylinders and was a benchmark game showing just how far the ADM girls have come.

One of the biggest improvements for the ADM girls this season would be the improved turnover margin. Last season’s Tigers squad ranked 4th in the Raccoon River Conference in turnovers while this year the Tigers rank second best with the second fewest turnovers in the conference. The turnover margin is an aspect that head coach Corey Schneider has worked really hard with his team to improve and it showed Friday night.

“One of the biggest things was only having five turnovers. We’ve talked about keeping our turnovers down and our goal was no more than 12 and we exceeded that with just five,” explained coach Schneider.

Due to the postponement of last night’s game against Pella, the next match up for the Lady Tigers will be Thursday for  a rescheduled match on the road against Des Moines Christian. Game tip off is scheduled for 8:00 pm.
