The Dallas County Conservation Board invites everyone to go on a walk with them next week.
The Winter Bird Hike takes place Saturday, January 23rd starting at the east trailhead of the Raccoon River Valley Trail in Adel.
Naturalists will lead attendees on a hike toward the river as they search for unusual finches, winter hawks and other hardy species.
Binoculars and bird guides will be available for those who would like to borrow them.
The program is free and goes from 8-11am. Preregistration is recommended.
