Republican presidential hopeful Dr. Ben Carson recently stopped in Jefferson this week.
For those who are still undecided about who they should caucus for on February 1st, Carson says people should listen to what the candidates are saying and not someone else’s interpretation, so that everyone can make an informed decision.
Carson believes that President Obama doesn’t have a relationship with Congress and he tells Raccoon Valley Radio that if he was elected as President, he would re-establish communication and improve the relationship with Congress right away.
“I would also make sure that the conversations between the executive branch and the legislative branch are public. So that people can actually see who is advocating for them and who is being a stick in the mud.”
Carson will be one of the featured candidates on the main stage for the upcoming debate tonight.
